Wayflyer launches Hosted Capital to embed financing in apps

Fri, 17th Oct 2025

Wayflyer has launched Hosted Capital, a solution enabling service providers to commerce brands to embed financing directly within their digital platforms.

The Hosted Capital product allows platforms to display indicative financing offers inside their applications, providing customers with swift access to capital for uses such as restocking inventory or launching marketing campaigns. According to Wayflyer, this approach provides service partners with a method to generate additional passive revenue while supporting customer retention, without engaging in the regulatory or financial risks traditionally associated with lending.

Capital access in-app

Wayflyer states that partners can set up Hosted Capital within 24 hours. The company manages funding, underwriting, customer support, and compliance requirements, allowing partners to offer lending capabilities without developing an internal product or obtaining additional licensing.

Hosted Capital is intended for minimal technical implementation, allowing partners to remain compliant with relevant regulations while deploying a lending product in a short timeframe. By shouldering the regulatory and financial responsibilities, Wayflyer positions the service as an option for platforms seeking to diversify offerings without additional overhead.

Revenue and retention

The programme offers a revenue-sharing model, giving partners an additional income stream. Customers remain within the partner's platform throughout the entire financing process, unlike referral models, which require users to exit the platform to engage with the lender. Wayflyer suggests that Hosted Capital is positioned to lower the risk of customer drop-off by keeping users engaged in a single interface from offer to completion.

The solution also seeks to address one of the more common difficulties for small businesses-the need for timely and reliable access to finance. By integrating funding opportunities at the point of need inside partner platforms, Wayflyer expects partners will be able to improve the services available to their business users.

Wayflyer's position

Wayflyer reports that since it entered the market in 2020, it has provided over USD $5 billion in financing to more than 5,000 businesses globally. Through Hosted Capital, the company offers capital ranging from USD $10,000 to USD $20 million, supporting a variety of business needs and sizes.

The company states that its proposition is underpinned by its data capabilities and operational infrastructure, which combine its own lending expertise with that of its network of partners. By focusing on the needs of small and fast-growing commerce businesses, Wayflyer continues to develop services that aim to reduce the barriers to practical capital access at key moments of operational growth.
