Ikonz Studios, known for its AI-driven immersive experiences, has successfully raised strategic funding in a Pre-Series A round from notable investors including Marc Jordan, Madhusudan Kela, Akash Bhanshali, and Ramana Thummu.

The company, currently valued at $80 million, has not disclosed the specific amount raised in this round. This funding marks a key moment for Ikonz as it seeks to expand globally, enhance its AI capabilities and develop its intellectual property portfolio.

Marc Jordan, President of Blue Amber Investments, shared his enthusiasm for joining Ikonz Studios. "I have always believed in the power of technology to elevate cultural storytelling. Ikonz Studios is at the forefront of this transformation by turning iconic personalities into interactive digital experiences through AI. I am thrilled to join this team and leverage my experience to help bridge diverse cultures with cutting-edge tech on a global stage." Jordan's extensive experience in the entertainment industry includes collaborations with renowned artists such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Imagine Dragons.

The funding round sees the participation of Ramana Thummu, Chief Technology Officer at Expedia. His technology expertise spans over two decades, including contributions to Fanatics Commerce. Thummu commented, "I've had the pleasure of advising Abinav and the IKONZ team for almost a year now, and it's been exciting to see their vision take shape. They are building something truly innovative at the intersection of technology and culture, with a strong focus on unlocking value for creators and communities. The team's passion and execution have been impressive, and I'm confident that IKONZ is poised for significant impact."

Noted investor Madhusudan Kela and Akash Bhanshali, Principal Owner of the Enam Group, also participated in the funding, bringing their financial acumen to the table. Their involvement is expected to guide Ikonz's growth and strategic investment initiatives as it forays into new markets and industries.

Ikonz Studios, founded in 2021 and based in Hyderabad, specialises in creating hyper-realistic AI-powered digital avatars and holographic experiences. The company is at the forefront of technological advancements in sectors such as banking, healthcare, education, and retail, featuring collaborations with personalities like Mr Amitabh Bachchan.

The newly acquired funds will support Ikonz's ambitions to triple its workforce from 34 to approximately 100 employees, with a significant portion of this workforce growth occurring in India. The funds will also be utilised for the acquisition and development of high-value digital intellectual properties.

In aligning with its growth trajectory, Ikonz intends to enhance AI technology with systems that integrate real-time voice and video processing, as well as visual recognition capabilities, enabling AI avatars to interact dynamically in both digital and physical settings. This future development is also aimed at solidifying its market presence in North America by establishing a team dedicated to operations in the United States.

Abinav Varma Kalidindi, CEO of Ikonz Studios, expressed, "This investment is a testament to the transformative potential of Ikonz Studios in redefining AI-driven experiences. With the support of industry visionaries like Ramana, Marc, Mr Kela, and Mr Bhanshali, we are poised to scale our impact globally—expanding our IP, strengthening our technology, and enhancing the way people interact with AI. Our goal is not just to lead in AI innovation but to revolutionize storytelling, brand engagement, and digital interactions at a scale never seen before."
