Kaseya launches Kaseya 365 User with SaaS Alerts buyout

Fri, 1st Nov 2024

Kaseya has announced the launch of Kaseya 365 User and its acquisition of cybersecurity company SaaS Alerts, enhancing capabilities for managed service providers (MSPs).

The newly introduced Kaseya 365 User aims to assist MSPs in preventing, responding to, and recovering from identity and security threats. This development accompanies the earlier release of Kaseya 365 Endpoint in April 2024. SaaS Alerts' technology, which will now be available as part of the Kaseya 365 User subscription, is included without additional cost.

Fred Voccola, Chief Executive Officer of Kaseya, commented, "Our mission is to make our partners more profitable, by providing them a platform that provides far more AI-based automation than otherwise available, and offering that platform at a fraction of the cost." Expanding on the company's objective, he noted, "When we launched Kaseya 365 Endpoint earlier this year, the market response was astounding. Our goal from the beginning of our journey was to ensure our MSP partners get the recognition and financial benefits that match the enormous value they provide to SMBs around the world. Now, with Kaseya 365 User, we get to take another major step. Our partners can better protect themselves and their customers, automate service delivery and once again vastly improve their unit economics for greater profitability."

MSPs play a critical role in supporting small businesses' technological infrastructure, which relies heavily on secure user data management and threat response. Kaseya 365 User and Kaseya 365 Endpoint together offer comprehensive protection for MSPs' customers.

Nick Martin, Director of Managed Services at Mainstreet IT Solutions, stated, "Now more than ever, there is a massive advantage to being an MSP powered by Kaseya. It's a true competitive advantage because with Kaseya 365 User we're getting more for less money, and we can pass along savings to our customers without sacrificing anything."

SaaS Alerts continues to be a significant component of Kaseya 365 User, providing real-time monitoring and remediation of threats within SaaS environments. Jim Lippie, Chief Executive Officer of SaaS Alerts, remarked, "As cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated, MSP tools need to evolve. With cloud detection and response, MSPs can identify breaches and act on them quickly. This is a must-have for MSPs to protect their customers."

Kaseya has also disclosed a USD $10 million investment in its new Backup Concierge Program, providing free access to Kaseya Datto backup customers. This investment targets both the commercial and technical challenges associated with data protection, aiming to optimise profitability for MSPs.

The company also introduced Next Gen Endpoint Backup to enhance data protection with a focus on control, flexibility, and restore options, alongside Cooper Copilot's expansion to PSA featuring AI enhancements to streamline ticket resolution.

The integration of Network Detective Pro with audIT has been highlighted as a key step, providing enhanced audit and reporting capabilities to MSPs without additional cost, designed to increase profitability.

Additional functionalities in Vonahi's offerings include a new preliminary pentest feature for prospecting clients, with options for customizable branded reports exported to Microsoft Word.

The introduction of Kaseya 365 User complements the previously launched Kaseya 365 Endpoint, which in less than six months has expanded protection to over 5.5 million devices.
