New Relic opens new Bengaluru office for expansion in India

Today

New Relic is enhancing its footprint in India by inaugurating a new office in Bengaluru with more than 300 seats.

The expanded office will support various teams, including product, engineering, finance, and operations, as New Relic seeks to cater to the rising demands of its global customer base. The company's Indian workforce has witnessed a significant increase, quadrupling since the start of 2024.

India stands out as a rapidly growing market for New Relic within Asia. The opening of this new office marks a notable step in the company's regional expansion strategy. This follows the establishment of the initial Bengaluru office in March 2022 and the Hyderabad Product Innovation Center in October 2022.

The new Bengaluru premises offer designated collaboration areas for the product, engineering, and design teams.

The aim is to push forward key developments in the New Relic Intelligent Observability Platform. By integrating these functions with go-to-market and core finance and operational teams, New Relic is encouraging improved cross-functional collaboration to enhance service to its global clientele.

"Our customers and our team in India are foundational for our future. As India's sophisticated digital economy continues to adopt AI and other advanced technologies to enhance customer experiences, observability has become mission-critical, and we are seeing incredible traction both in terms of customer adoption and engagement," said New Relic Chief Financial Officer Ashish Agarwal. "With many of our global customers' observability teams also based in India, the new Bengaluru office further enables us to serve our global customers with the high calibre of talent on our various teams and strengthens India's role as a core hub for our growth strategy and commitment to operational excellence."

Recently, New Relic has achieved several accolades, underscoring its ongoing innovation and leadership. Collaborations have included working with NVIDIA to offer AI monitoring for applications developed with NVIDIA NIM and releasing the first integrated, AI-enhanced digital experience monitoring solution.

The company has also introduced New Relic Pathpoint, providing businesses with enhanced capabilities to improve digital application performance and reliability.

Acknowledgements for New Relic's leadership and impact include various awards. These comprise the GCC AI Visionary Award at the Minsky Awards for Excellence in AI, the Agent of Change Award at the Goodera Karma Summit 2024, and the Site Leader of the Year 2024 at the Zyion Group GCC Workplace Awards, awarded to Rohit Ramanand, Group Vice President of Engineering, India.

Additionally, New Relic has been recognised as a leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for both Digital Experience Monitoring and Observability Platforms.
