Bybit has launched Bybit AI, a conversational assistant within its app that combines trading and customer support in a single chat interface.

The assistant lets users make requests in plain language and take action in the app on their behalf. It is launching with trading and support services, with access to other parts of the platform included in the initial rollout.

The product is available to all users through two main modules. One covers Spot, Futures and Options trading, as well as Bybit Earn, Copy Trading, Trading Bot, Loan, P2P, Bybit Card, Spot X, the Rewards Hub, and notification and subscription management.

The second focuses on customer service and will work alongside human support agents. Support features are integrated into the same chat experience used for trading and account-related tasks.

Chat interface

The launch reflects a broader shift among financial platforms toward conversational interfaces that reduce reliance on traditional menus, web pages and dashboards. At Bybit, the system is designed to let users check balances, place trades and submit support tickets in natural language rather than switch between separate tools.

The architecture is intended to connect different business lines through a single interface, making multiple services appear as part of one assistant. Bybit also outlined plans to link trading, earn, loans, card services and customer support through Open API.

Ben Zhou, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bybit, outlined the company's broader aims for the product.

"Bybit AI is an important part of our roadmap for the New Financial Platform," said Ben Zhou, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bybit.

"We want to make it easier for users to access the financial services they need in one place. As we continue to develop Bybit AI, users will be able to use it to find and access a wider range of products and services on Bybit. The idea is simple: you tell Bybit AI what you want to do, and it helps you find the right products and services to get it done, like having a team of financial experts right in your pocket," Zhou said.

Security design

Users must activate the feature before using it. Activation creates a dedicated Bybit AI sub-account, kept separate from a user's main balance.

That structure is intended to reduce risks linked to AI-driven actions while removing the need for users to set up API keys manually. Bybit said this should also speed up onboarding for eligible users.

Cryptocurrency exchanges have been adding more automation and support tools as competition shifts beyond simple trade execution toward broader account management and user retention. A single conversational layer could also help exchanges present complex product ranges more simply for retail customers.

That approach, however, places greater emphasis on how clearly systems interpret user instructions and how safely they carry out account actions. Bybit said its model relies on underlying infrastructure connections, while individual services plug into the same front-end interface.

Rockman Zhang, Chief Technology Officer of Bybit, said the company did not want to create another standalone tool.

"We are not looking to add another dashboard or bolt on another chatbot," said Rockman Zhang, Chief Technology Officer of Bybit.

"The goal is to make it easier for users to find what they need and take action in one place, with a simple interface that brings the right products and services together," Zhang said.
