Cloud.in names Vishal Dhanfule West India sales head

Cloud.in has appointed industry veteran Vishal Dhanfule as Regional Sales Head for West India as the cloud services provider seeks stronger growth across one of its key domestic markets.

The company said Dhanfule will lead sales efforts across western India, which it described as the country's largest and most dynamic market. He will focus on expanding strategic accounts in major industrial and technology hubs in the region.

Cloud.in positions the West region as a core part of its plan for wider national expansion. The company targets customers across enterprise, public sector and small and medium-sized businesses.

Dhanfule will align regional sales initiatives with Cloud.in's broader push for wider cloud adoption. The company focuses on what it describes as simplifying cloud adoption for businesses of different sizes.

Two-decade career

Dhanfule has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. His background covers cloud-led sales, business development, channel management, delivery and operations.

He has sold solutions in areas such as enterprise resource planning, public cloud, telecoms and internet data centres. His recent work has included sales across AWS and Azure environments and data centre services.

Dhanfule has held leadership roles at firms including Workmates, Core2cloud, CXIO Technologies and Noventiq India. The companies operate in segments such as cloud services, enterprise solutions and IT distribution.

Cloud.in said Dhanfule has managed strategic accounts and regional market development in earlier roles. The firm cited his experience in building partner ecosystems and in working with customers across multiple verticals.

Cloud demand in West

The West region covers large commercial centres including Mumbai and Pune. It includes major financial services, manufacturing and technology clusters, which have become active buyers of cloud and managed services.

Dhanfule said organisations are reassessing their IT strategies and investment priorities. He said they are adopting cloud services for business resilience and competitiveness.

Cloud.in launched as a separate brand in 2016. It says it has worked with more than 200 customers on migration, management and optimisation of digital infrastructure.

Edge Insights is an analytics tool for AWS CloudFront. It generates detailed data on content delivery and user engagement.
