Devart has marked its 29th anniversary with a 20% discount across its product portfolio, covering more than 140 products.

Founded in 1997, Devart sells database management, data connectivity and developer tools to technical teams working across software and data environments. More than 500,000 users rely on its products, and its customers include 65% of Fortune 100 companies.

Its portfolio includes the dbForge line of database development and management tools, ODBC Drivers, ADO.NET Data Providers, MCP Servers and other data software. These products support database development, administration, testing, comparison, deployment and application connectivity across a range of databases and cloud data sources.

The anniversary offer comes as Devart expands its software around artificial intelligence alongside its established database and connectivity products. Recent development includes a new MCP Server line designed to help AI assistants and agents work with databases and cloud data sources.

It has also added new AI functions to dbForge and expanded support for PostgreSQL users. Rather than treating AI as a separate product category, Devart is integrating it into tools already used by developers, database administrators and data professionals.

Product shift

Over nearly three decades, the business has expanded from a narrower focus on database development tools to a broader range spanning database administration, integration and developer productivity. That shift reflects wider changes in how companies manage data across multiple platforms, cloud services and software frameworks.

User feedback has helped shape that expansion. Developers, database administrators and data engineers increasingly work across mixed environments, and those demands continue to influence both Devart's established software and its newer AI-focused tools.

Its recent work has also brought external recognition, including a Silver Globee Award for Artificial Intelligence and five honours in the 2026 Database Trends and Applications Readers' Choice Awards.

Engineering focus

Oleksii Honcharov, Head of Engineering, outlined how the company views the latest shift in software development.

"For 29 years, Devart has been built on an engineering mindset: solve real problems, build things that last, and never stop improving. Technologies change, but that mindset doesn't. Today, AI is opening a new chapter in software development, and we approach it the same way: understand where it can add real value and build tools people can rely on," said Oleksii Honcharov, Head of Engineering, Devart.

This approach places Devart among a growing group of software suppliers embedding AI into established development and data workflows rather than marketing it as a standalone destination. For database and developer tool vendors, the commercial challenge is to add automation and assistant features without disrupting the reliability and control technical users expect.

Devart's current product mix suggests it sees continued demand in both areas. Core products still address routine but critical database tasks, while newer lines target teams experimenting with AI-enabled development environments and agent-based software tools.

Its focus remains on helping technical teams manage larger data volumes, more varied data sources and changing development models without adding unnecessary complexity to workflows. The anniversary discount is one of its most significant promotional offers of the year.
