DoiT acquires CloudWize to boost multi-cloud security and consolidate risk

Mon, 27th Oct 2025

DoiT has acquired the multi-cloud security posture and compliance platform CloudWize in a move to consolidate cloud risk, reliability, and cost within its Cloud Intelligence platform.

The integration of CloudWize technology into DoiT's portfolio enables customers to address cloud security, compliance, and financial efficiency from a single platform. The CloudWize platform is designed to improve visibility and automation throughout cloud environments by detecting misconfigurations and compliance drift, as well as automating remediation using policy-as-code guardrails. This technology also provides a continuous Security Graph for incident response within Amazon Web Services (AWS).

DoiT has outlined that the acquisition forms part of its $250 million investment into artificial intelligence-driven CloudOps and FinOps, and comes on the heels of DoiT's acquisitions of PerfectScale and LiveDiagrams. These investments contribute to DoiT's stated aim of expanding its services across Kubernetes optimisation, architecture visualisation, and now, multi-cloud security posture management.

DoiT's Cloud Intelligence platform has traditionally offered financial and operational cloud management. Now, with CloudWize's technology, it encompasses intelligent security posture, compliance, and automated guardrails, increasingly linking core elements such as risk, reliability, and cost in a unified approach.

CloudWize's ability to connect security posture findings directly to cost impact was highlighted as directly aligning with DoiT's drive for outcome-focused solutions in cloud management. The new capabilities are aimed at helping organisations respond more efficiently to cloud security events and compliance requirements, while simultaneously controlling unnecessary spending.

"Over the last decade, we've learned that many FinOps or CloudOps problems actually start as security drift and misconfiguration," said Vadim Solovey, CEO of DoiT. "We've built our platform to catch cost anomalies in real time, but the best problem is the one you never create. CloudWize brings cost-aware, context-driven security to DoiT Cloud Intelligence, helping customers prevent the misconfigurations that become waste, outages, and risk. It turns posture into guardrails-and guardrails into lower spend."

With the CloudWize acquisition, DoiT broadens its position within the FinOps 3.0 landscape and seeks to bridge the gap between FinOps, SecOps, and DevOps approaches. The combined technologies, according to the company, can enable organisations to rank risks by business impact, automate remediation through DoiT CloudFlow, and accelerate compliance activities, with all actions geared toward minimising resource wastage and supporting more responsive teams.

"From the beginning, CloudWize's mission was to simplify and secure the multi-cloud journey," said Chen Goldberg, CEO and founder of CloudWize. "Joining DoiT allows us to scale that vision globally, helping customers turn security and compliance into strategic advantages that drive both resilience and efficiency."

DoiT describes the CloudWize acquisition as marking another significant milestone in its long-term strategy to build an intent-aware CloudOps and FinOps platform, where decisions regarding spend and security are both contextually informed and automated.

The combination of DoiT's Cloud Intelligence and CloudWize technology intends to support customers with end-to-end cloud management. DoiT's extended expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure is now reinforced with multi-cloud security and compliance capabilities, offering deeper integration between cost management, security policies, and operational guardrails for enterprise clients.
