GoodTake set to revolutionise entertainment talent recruitment

Today

GoodTake, a platform aimed at improving talent recruitment and management in the entertainment sector, is set to officially launch on January 10, 2025.

Founded in July 2024 by actress Mila, GoodTake intends to address the challenges encountered by production teams and talents during the casting and production processes. The platform automates several administrative aspects, such as non-disclosure agreements, contracts, invoices, talent scheduling, and payments, allowing production teams to dedicate more time to creativity.

GoodTake offers a comprehensive solution with features including a vast database of international actors, simplified candidate shortlisting, and automated administrative paperwork. By automating the administrative side, GoodTake allows production teams to focus on creativity while giving talents greater access to exciting job opportunities.

The inception of GoodTake stems from the recognition of inefficiencies and missed opportunities in the current talent management systems. Embracing insights from talents and production houses, GoodTake launched its minimum viable product in October 2024, receiving substantial attention and feedback.

The platform is currently in a seed funding round, securing USD $60,000 from angel investors. This financial backing will support its official launch and subsequent improvements.

Following a successful beta phase involving various production houses and actors, GoodTake has experienced rapid growth. The platform boasts a waitlist of over 500 creative talents, including actors, dancers, and content creators. It surpassed its initial goal of attracting 100 early users within merely four days.

The company aims to recruit 1,000 active users by the launch in January 2025 and plans to facilitate a robust flow of new projects from production houses daily.

As the launch date approaches, GoodTake is focused on enrolling more production houses and refining the platform to deliver a seamless user experience. Future enhancements include improved actor selection tools, faster payment cycles, and additional resources for production teams and talents.

Claire Lim, Head of Marketing & PR at GoodTake, reiterated the platform's vision in her communication, stressing the significance of a platform that "promises to streamline the entire talent management process—from audition to payment." The company is enthusiastic about sharing how this new platform simplifies the casting process and reduces administrative burdens while offering new opportunities for talents worldwide.
