Kinetic IT has appointed Meg Santos as Head of Service Integration, marking her return to the Australian technology services provider.

Based on Australia's east coast, Santos will lead the practice nationally as Kinetic IT expands a unit focused on service integration, IT service management and ServiceNow.

The appointment comes as organisations manage more complex technology estates, larger supplier networks, and tighter security and regulatory requirements. Kinetic IT said its service integration work is designed to help customers connect systems and suppliers, clarify accountability, and improve oversight of operational and cyber risk.

Santos brings more than 20 years of experience in technology consulting, service management, operations and business leadership. She joins from Fujitsu, where she was Executive Director, ServiceNow Oceania, overseeing strategy and performance across Australia and New Zealand.

Her earlier roles include senior leadership and consulting positions at Enable, ValueFlow, Data#3, RXP and CSC. She previously worked at Kinetic IT as Operations Manager from 2017 to 2018, where she helped establish the operating model for a new service and led teams delivering IT service management and enterprise service management projects.

Practise growth

Kinetic IT is increasing investment in professional services as customers seek tighter control over complex technology environments. Many organisations already rely heavily on service management platforms while also facing faster change in cloud, automation and digital service tools.

This is adding pressure on internal teams to manage broad supplier ecosystems and more complex operating models. In sectors such as government and critical infrastructure, the challenge is often greater because organisations must modernise while continuing to run legacy systems and meet strict security and sovereignty requirements.

Kinetic IT said its service integration model is intended to strengthen governance in multi-provider environments and help customers get more value from existing technology investments. The focus is on resilience, assurance and local control in settings where operational continuity is critical.

Kinetic IT has built credentials in this area through its ServiceNow partnership and SIAM work. It is a ServiceNow Elite Partner and said it was named the 2026 Consulting & Implementation Rising Star Partner of the Year for Asia Pacific. The company also said it is the first organisation in Australia and the second globally to achieve SIAM Assured Service Partner status.

Shane Quinn, Managing Director, Professional Services at Kinetic IT, linked the appointment to broader customer demand.

"Our professional services business is growing as customers look for greater control and value from complex technology environments. Service management platforms are already deeply embedded in most organisations, but the pace of change around them is accelerating.

Meg brings deep ServiceNow expertise, strong market relationships and a proven record of building professional services teams. She gives us real depth as we scale," Quinn said.

Return to Kinetic

Santos said her decision to rejoin the business reflected both its customer base and its position in sectors with strict operational and regulatory demands.

"Coming back was an easy decision. I've spent my career building ServiceNow and professional services businesses, and few organisations in this country have the combination Kinetic IT has - deep trust across Defence, government and critical infrastructure, a genuinely sovereign delivery model, and a crew that holds itself to a very high standard.

What I've always valued is who this business serves. Our customers keep the lights on, keep people safe, and deliver services Australians rely on every day.

The opportunity ahead is significant. Customers are being asked to modernise, meet a rising regulatory bar and adopt AI safely, all at once - on platforms that are global, against obligations that are distinctly Australian. My job is to help them move faster, and to build a practice where the best ServiceNow people in the country want to spend their careers," Santos said.

Kinetic IT employs more than 1,400 people nationally and works across government, defence and critical industry. Its broader business covers digital infrastructure, cyber security, workplace services and service integration, with delivery based in Australia.
