Lenovo & AMD unveil new AI-centric solutions for hybrid innovation

Lenovo ISG has shared its latest suite of AI-centric infrastructure systems and solutions, designed to foster Hybrid AI innovation from edge to cloud. These solutions aim to offer the essential IT infrastructure vital to controlling pivotal data and managing compute-intensive workloads. Lenovo aims to simplify the AI experience for its clients, as they strive to meet the demands and opportunities presented by AI.

Lenovo and AMD have spearheaded AI innovation with their latest offering, the AMD MI300X-powered ThinkSystem SR685a V3 8GPU server, characterised by unmatched capabilities to handle extensive GenAI and LLM workloads. "Our latest offerings, powered by AMD's cutting-edge technology, mark our commitment to leading the market," exclaimed Sumir Bhatia, President of the Asia Pacific at Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group. As AI investment surges by approximately 45%, Lenovo's advanced solutions are expected to empower organisations on their intelligent transformation paths.

In association with AMD, Lenovo presents the ThinkSystem SR685a V3 8GPU server, an effective solution for the most compute-intensive workloads, such as GenAI and Large Language Models (LLM). Jagadeesh Venugopal, COO of Pappaya Cloud, praised the server's potential to meet current and future AI workload requirements. The company has also released the Lenovo ThinkAgile MX455 V3 Edge Premier Solution, designed to bring inference and real-time data analysis to the edge. "As AI adoption accelerates among APAC businesses and the rest of the world, demand for compute is growing rapidly at an exponential rate," commented Peter Chambers, Managing Director, Sales, APAC, AMD. This versatile platform is ideal for various industry sectors, including retail, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Furthermore, Lenovo and AMD have unveiled the Lenovo ThinkSystem SD535 V3, a thermally efficient, multi-node, high-performance server designed to maximise performance per rack for intensive transaction processing. This offering suits workloads including cloud computing and virtualisation at scale, big data analytics, high-performance computing, and real-time e-commerce transactions.

To aid businesses' success with AI adoption, Lenovo has introduced AI Advisory and Professional Services, offering a wide range of services, solutions and platforms.
