ManageEngine integrates Log 360 with Constella for dark web monitoring
ManageEngine, the enterprise IT division of Zoho, has announced the integration of its SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solution, Log 360, with Constella Intelligence, a digital risk protection platform. This integration aims to provide organisations with 24/7 monitoring of the dark web and serves as a first point of defence against supply chain risks.
The integration of Log360 with Constella Intelligence equips organisations with a critical first line of defence against supply chain attacks and was announced at the RSA Conference, held in San Francisco from May 6-9, 2024. As per Gartner projections, nearly 45% of organisations worldwide are expected to experience a supply chain attack by 2025. This integration empowers businesses to proactively monitor both the deep and dark web for leaked credentials, enabling immediate action and prevention of cyberattacks, thus safeguarding critical data and limiting operational disruptions.
Kevin Senator, CEO at Constella Intelligence expressed, "Today's interconnected business landscape demands proactive measures against the looming threat of supply chain attacks. With this integration, we are equipping organisations with a crucial first line of defence. By relentlessly hunting leaked credentials, we empower businesses to stay ahead of cyber threats and safeguard their critical data and operations."
Manikandan Thangaraj, vice president at ManageEngine, explained that this integration proves extremely beneficial in empowering lean security teams against an ongoing shortage of cybersecurity expertise. He stated, "The cybercrime landscape is relentless, and skilled defenders are scarce. At ManageEngine, we have been deeply focused on strengthening the capabilities of our security suite of products, specifically Log360's threat detection, investigation and response (TDIR) module. Our latest addition—the integration with Constella Intelligence—shortens threat detection time by proactively uncovering leaks on the dark web. This integration empowers security operations centres to act faster, even with limited resources, and neutralise threats before they strike."
The integration of Log360 with Constella Intelligence holds several significant benefits for organisations. It offers 24/7 dark web monitoring, thus continuously scanning the deep and dark web for leaked credentials associated with organisations, their employees, and third-party vendors, ensuring that they are alerted about any potential vulnerabilities. It enables proactive mitigation and supply chain collaboration, unified security response, real-time alerts and threat intelligence, and predictions to preempt attacks. Entities can gain deeper knowledge about attacker behaviour and anticipate their next steps, containing threats and minimising potential damage.
The collaborative approach facilitated by this integration strengthens the overall security posture of the supply chain and reduces the attack surface. Moreover, by correlating suspicious activities within networks with leaked credentials, it potentially exposes a larger attempt at a supply chain attack, thus allowing for a faster and more effective response. Upon detection of leaked credentials, organisations get immediate alerts with details on the breach. Log360's Incident Workbench provides valuable insights into the source and scope of the leak enabling organisations to understand its potential impact and whether it affects their supply chain partners.
