MRO-TEK Networks reported a rise in second-quarter revenue in its products segment, where revenue increased 56.86% year on year to ₹1,150.69 lakhs.

The Bengaluru-based networking and telecom equipment company continued work across its solutions and real estate businesses during the quarter while maintaining investment in research and development.

Revenue trends were mixed across divisions. The solutions segment posted revenue of ₹277.70 lakhs, down from ₹396.95 lakhs a year earlier, while the real estate segment reported ₹450.72 lakhs, compared with ₹1,260.29 lakhs in the same quarter last year.

Management said the products business benefited from demand for indigenous networking products and solutions, as well as customer activity in telecom, enterprise and government markets. It also cited a healthy order pipeline.

The company continued to invest in research and development, focusing on indigenous network operating systems and next-generation switching technologies. It said supply chain conditions in global electronics remained volatile, requiring continued planning around procurement, inventories and delivery schedules.

The products division generated ₹733.59 lakhs in the same quarter a year earlier, making it the only segment the company highlighted as delivering year-on-year growth during the period.

By contrast, the solutions unit continued to execute projects in telecom and digital infrastructure, but revenue fell from the prior-year level. The real estate arm also reported lower revenue as development continued at projects including Umiya Bricklane and Umiya Prism.

Development work at those sites remained in line with planned schedules, though the update provided no further financial detail on the projects.

"Our Q2 FY27 performance highlights the continued momentum in our Products business, alongside our focus on execution across business verticals. Despite evolving market conditions, we remain committed to strengthening our technology capabilities, improving operational efficiencies and advancing our ongoing real estate developments. Our priorities continue to be timely project execution, customer engagement and sustainable long-term value creation for our stakeholders," said Aniruddha Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director of MRO-TEK, commenting on the quarter.

The company described the quarter as one of steady operational performance, supported by execution across business lines and continued customer engagement. It added that it remained focused on strengthening its position in government and enterprise networking solutions.

Supply chain focus

The company said the quarter unfolded amid continued disruption in the global electronics supply chain. MRO-TEK managed customer orders through supply chain planning, inventory management and close customer engagement.

The issue remains material for networking equipment makers and system integrators, which have had to navigate component availability, procurement cycles and delivery timing while serving public and private sector buyers.

"The quarter required continued focus on supply chain planning and timely order execution amid volatility in the global electronics industry. Our teams remained committed to strengthening customer engagement, meeting project timelines and advancing our indigenous technology roadmap, including next-generation switching technologies. Going forward, we will continue to focus on execution, innovation and developing networking solutions aligned with evolving customer requirements," Group Captain C.S. Krishnadas (Retd), Chief Executive Officer of MRO-TEK, said.

MRO-TEK said it disclosed promoter share acquisitions, where applicable, to stock exchanges in line with disclosure requirements. It added that it remained committed to corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Established in 1984, the company operates as an original equipment manufacturer and system integrator in telecom and networking, serving enterprise, telecom operator, government and other sectors. Its portfolio includes routers, switches, optical networking systems, managed network services and security products.

The company also said it is approved by the Department of Telecommunications as a trusted source and original equipment manufacturer.
