OliverIQ, the Smart Home as a Service (SHaaS) platform provider, has revealed today its new B2B service, specifically designed for communications service providers (CSPs). In recognition of the diverse needs of such providers, the company will offer two distinct pricing models. This development will enable regional, national, and global service providers to offer smart home automation services via their own apps and routers, the company states.
The new offering will allow CSPs, including Telcos, ISPs, and broadband providers, to enable automatic device discovery, control, and automation right within their app, using OliverIQ's white-labelled services. Furthermore, OliverIQ will provide 24/7 remote tech support for the smart home system, also white-labelled under the respective CSP's brand identity.
With their all-inclusive SHaaS platform, OliverIQ reimagines the typical fragmented smart home space into a streamlined managed service. Broadband, telecom, and internet service providers will now have the ability to offer their customers a smart home experience that is consistent with their brand, enhancing both customer relationships and brand uniqueness.
Unlike previous efforts to integrate telecom services into home automation, which often centred around uniform smart home kits, OliverIQ's novel approach takes into account the diverse needs of consumers. The platform offers a solution that is inclusive of different device manufacturers, moving away from the restrictive limitations of the past. It gives service providers the possibility to enhance their customer's existing smart home devices and integrate new ones, according to their individual preferences and needs.
The CEO and Co-Founder of OliverIQ, Will West explained: "Telcos and ISPs have ventured into the smart home space before, but the real key to success in this arena is in-depth support and integration for the devices consumers organically want. That's where OliverIQ stands out."
Offering live security monitoring, home automation, and all-round service and support, OliverIQ's comprehensive SHaaS solution is presented under the service provider's brand. This holistic approach increases brand visibility, customer loyalty, and positions telcos as inclusive smart home service providers.
"Our platform fits hand-in-glove with the needs of service providers and offers their customers a world of choice when it comes to selecting the smart home devices that work best for their lifestyle," West added.
The Co-Founder and CTO of OliverIQ, Eric Smith, noted: "SHaaS represents a paradigm shift for telco service providers. Homeowners no longer need to juggle many apps: the service provider's app becomes the one app to rule them all. That's an incredibly sticky relationship."
The platform, developed with tech service support, ensures smart home functionality does not degrade over time and therefore enables an enduring relationship between service providers and their customers. OliverIQ's new offered service enables service providers to introduce their own smart home automation service swiftly, enhancing customer bonds.
