WalkMe unveils AI updates in Summer 2024 product release
WalkMe, a firm known for its solutions in the digital adoption sector, has announced several updates to its artificial intelligence (AI) offerings as part of its Summer 2024 product update. Central to the announcement are enhancements to WalkMeX, its context-aware copilot designed to increase productivity by integrating AI assistance across various applications.
A significant feature of WalkMeX is its ability to provide employees with proactive, contextual advice while engaged in their workflow. This offering aims to address the issue identified by recent surveys, in which half of office workers noted no improvement in productivity from using AI in their workplace.
The recent updates to WalkMeX include new tools designed to build powerful copilot experiences. These tools deliver constant AI assistance directly within the user's workflow. In addition, WalkMeX now includes on-demand AI chat capabilities for conversational search and task automation.
Commenting on WalkMeX's advancements, Moran Shemer, EVP of R&D at WalkMe, said: "The combination of general-purpose LLMs with our proprietary DeepUI technology gives WalkMeX the ability to understand context across the digital workplace and what people are trying to do on the screen. The company also made several announcements relating to product enhancements beyond WalkMeX. These updates include:
New Content Manager: This manager acts as a singular hub for administrators to manage digital adoption content. It includes features like customised views, advanced filtering, collaboration tools, and project management capabilities.
WalkMe Insights Enhancements: Improvements in this suite of analytics solutions provide extended visibility into the performance of Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) content. These enhancements feature custom dashboards and widgets that users can configure according to their specific needs.
Workflow Solutions Enhancements: The updates include 20 business domains and over 1200 predefined Accelerators designed for more than 300 workflows. These Accelerators aim to expedite technology time-to-value and return on investment.
WalkMeX has already received significant recognition in the industry. It has recently been awarded several prestigious accolades, including two Silver Globee Technology Awards for "Best Product, Service, or Innovation in Artificial Intelligence" and "Hot Technologies in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning." Additional honours include the AI Breakthrough Awards' AI Chatbot Innovation of the Year Award and the Remote Tech Breakthrough Awards' Remote Work Tech Innovation of the Year.
