The third annual Women's Leadership Summit, organised by STACK Infrastructure, a global developer and operator of data centres, and IPI Partners, a worldwide investment platform in digital infrastructure, recently concluded in Fort Worth, Texas. The Summit attracted a diverse range of women from STACK, IPI Partners, clients, affiliates, catered to professionals seeking skill development, and encouraged empowerment through networking and industry-related discussions.
Chief Financial Officer at STACK Americas, Heather Paduck, extolled the event as a success, remarking, "I am thrilled to witness the impactful conversations and robust networking that took place. We brought together a diverse group of leaders, shaping the future of digital infrastructure. The Summit's highlights included a recognition and honouring session for Alison Estrada, an ambassador for Girl Scouts of Colorado, and one of the inaugural participants of the newly launched Girl Scout patch programme by STACK and IPI. The initiative focuses on enhancing STEM education and promoting the data centre industry. In addition, the Summit hosted various breakout sessions addressing a diverse range of industry topics, such as the funding the next wave of data centre demands and issues and opportunities in the dynamic utility-constrained environment.
Lauren Sullivan, Managing Director at IPI Partners, viewed the event enthusiastically, stating, "This event is an exciting opportunity to engage with women across our clients and partners. Witnessing the energy and thought-provoking conversations reaffirms my belief in the transformative power of women's voices in shaping our industry's future."
Mayor of Fort Worth, Mattie Parker, closed the event with inspiring remarks, encouraging participants to engage actively in their communities for positive change. Boasting of the event, the Mayor said, "Fort Worth was honoured to host the collective wisdom and passion shared at STACK and IPI's 3rd Annual Women's Leadership Summit. Both STACK and IPI have manifested their commitment to support women's career progression, through their recruitment, development, and mentorship programmes. STACK runs a paid annual apprenticeship for women aiming to train as STACK Critical Operations Technicians, having now entered the third cohort of this initiative. The Women's Leadership Summit is among the myriad features that underscore STACK's and IPI's ongoing commitment towards supporting the progress of women in technology.
