Alethea names Gyanendra Pati, Gaurav Jain to posts

Alethea Advisors has appointed Gyanendra N Pati as Chief Growth and Marketing Officer and Gaurav Jain as Director and Head of M&A and Global Delivery, expanding its leadership team as it builds its mergers and acquisitions and cross-border advisory work.
The Bengaluru-headquartered firm said Pati will oversee growth strategy, brand positioning and market expansion in India and overseas. Jain will lead transaction execution and offshore delivery operations for domestic and cross-border assignments.
The appointments come as Alethea broadens its work beyond advisory into transaction execution, valuation, IPO readiness and global delivery, in response to demand from clients seeking strategic advice alongside execution support.
Pati brings 22 years of experience across technology, banking, financial services and insurance, fintech, and global capability centres. He has previously held roles at Acuity Analytics, Moody's, Infosys and HP.
Jain has more than two decades of experience in investment banking operations and M&A advisory. He previously held leadership roles at Moody's Corporation and Acuity Analytics, covering North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
Growth push
Alethea advises corporates, founders, investors and institutions on strategic transactions, capital initiatives and business transformation programmes. Its services include M&A advisory, valuation, fundraising, financial diligence, strategic finance, IPO readiness, India market-entry strategy and transaction support.
The firm is continuing to strengthen its work across cross-border M&A advisory, strategic finance, valuation services, IPO and capital markets readiness, offshore delivery and India market-entry advisory. It is also expanding support for growth-stage businesses and corporate clients pursuing expansion and transformation plans.

New roles
Pati's remit includes leading the firm's growth agenda and marketing efforts as it seeks to expand its presence in India and selected international markets. His background spans operating companies and information services groups, giving him experience in market development and commercial strategy.
He said companies were seeking clearer guidance as dealmaking and expansion became more complex.
