Cloud.in wins AWS MSP status in cloud services push

Wed, 8th Apr 2026

Cloud.in has achieved Amazon Web Services Managed Service Provider Partner status, placing it among a limited group of AWS partners worldwide.

The designation is awarded after a third-party audit assessing a partner's technical depth, automation, security practices, and ability to manage complex cloud environments at scale. Cloud.in is the cloud engineering division of Hostin Services.

The recognition comes as businesses shift their focus from basic cloud adoption to cost control, efficiency, and performance. That change is driving demand for managed cloud services focused on day-to-day operations, as well as migration and modernisation.

Rahul S Kurkure, Founder and Director of Cloud.in, linked the announcement to that trend. "The real problem today is not the cloud adoption, it's cloud inefficiency," he said.

He added: "Most organizations tend to incur high costs, have low levels of automation, and operate primarily in a reactive manner. With AWS MSP, we are doubling down on building automation-first, outcome-driven cloud environments where infrastructure continuously optimizes itself."

Service focus

Cloud.in said its managed services model combines automation, FinOps, and AI-led operations to help customers cut waste, improve performance, and gain closer oversight of cloud environments.

Before gaining AWS MSP status, it had already reached AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner level. It also holds competencies in migration and modernisation, Microsoft workloads, the small and medium-sized business and education segments, as well as generative AI and other newer workloads.

The addition of MSP status is expected to deepen Cloud.in's engagement with AWS programmes and support its work with customers running more complex environments. It plans to use the designation to strengthen its position in both mid-market and enterprise accounts.

In-House tools

Alongside its partner credentials, Cloud.in has been developing its own platforms to support managed services delivery. These include Freedom for multi-cloud billing and cost intelligence, Rudra Sentinel for threat detection across XDR and SIEM functions, and Niyantrac for disaster recovery orchestration.

It is also integrating AI-based agentic systems into operations to reduce manual intervention and speed up incident response and routine management tasks. This is part of a broader move towards self-healing and self-optimising cloud environments.

Customer base

According to Cloud.in, its team is fully cloud-certified and draws on more than 27 years of IT business experience. The company has migrated and manages more than 200 customers, including fintech groups, digital-native companies, and high-growth start-ups.

Those engagements span cloud cost optimisation and FinOps, large migration and modernisation projects, managed security and compliance services through SOC and NOC operations, and high-availability and disaster recovery environments. These areas have shown strong traction in its business.

The AWS MSP designation is one of the more closely scrutinised partner classifications in the cloud market because it focuses not just on implementation work, but also on the ability to operate and govern customer estates over time. For service providers, the status can help validate operational processes in areas such as monitoring, incident management, governance, and security.

For Cloud.in, the milestone marks a step up in how it presents itself to customers seeking managed support on AWS. It intends to focus on FinOps-led cloud optimisation, AI-driven operations, and industry-specific cloud offerings as it expands further into larger customer segments.
