Sun, 5th Jan 2025

Misfits Communications has launched Agrim, a platform designed to streamline customer service operations through artificial intelligence.

Agrim is described as India's first AI-powered voicebot platform by Siddharth Verma, Founder of Misfits Communications. "We are building a suite of products that use Gen AI technologies to create solutions which aim to solve complex business problems. Agrim is the first of this suite to be launched," he stated. Verma also highlighted that Agrim supports voice interactions in 41 languages, enabling businesses to offer human-like customer support through websites and mobile applications.

The platform leverages Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing to facilitate intuitive user experiences for both voice and text communications. It can extract relevant data from various sources including documents and websites, providing precise responses to user inquiries. Agrim's multilingual capability spans nine Indian and thirty-two international languages, thus broadening accessibility.

Agrim can be integrated into websites as a chatbot, capable of responding to inquiries by analysing website content or reading documents such as policies and manuals. In addition, it supports customer service operations by delivering 24/7 responses, which can significantly reduce waiting times and shift complex queries to human representatives.

The platform also finds application in e-commerce—including assisting in customer journeys with personalised recommendations and real-time issue resolution. Moreover, Agrim's interactive advertising functionality allows for dynamic, voice-responsive campaigns aimed at enhancing user engagement.

Sanchayita Deb, Co-founder of Misfits Communications, echoed the platform's versatility by saying, "Through Agrim, we aim to simplify the application of AI to solve the day-to-day problems that businesses face. AI is very powerful and can provide innumerable benefits if one can use it effectively understanding the challenges of businesses." She further emphasised that the development of Agrim was informed by customer feedback.

Agrim was initially launched in beta in September 2024 and was well-received by initial users for its flexibility and efficacy. Its recent transition to a full commercial release is a notable development for Misfits Communications, which intends to release additional AI-driven products, Prakhar and Drishti, by the close of the financial year.

Founded in October 2017 in Delhi, Misfits Communications specialises in AI-driven software solutions that address complex business challenges. The company's mission is to leverage artificial intelligence to enable businesses to achieve their digital potential. Starting with E-log, a production process optimisation tool for the pharmaceutical industry, Misfits expanded its portfolio with impactful solutions like Acebot, an AI-powered customer service tool. In 2024, the company introduced Agrim, an advanced platform catering to diverse industries, with additional products like Prakhar and Drishti set to launch soon.
