Pax8 expands Marketplace with partner analytics tools

Wed, 10th Jun 2026 (Today)

Pax8 has expanded its Marketplace platform with new tools for partners, focused on improving visibility across subscriptions, revenue and customer data.

The additions include Integration Guides, Subscription Insights, Partner Analytics Hub and Reports. Together, they are intended to give partners a clearer view of business performance from within the Marketplace.

Platform tools

The updates are aimed at firms that manage cloud services and software subscriptions for small and medium-sized business customers. Pax8 positioned the changes as part of a broader effort to make the Marketplace a single place where partners can monitor revenue, subscription activity, client health and financial performance.

Subscription Insights gives users a central view of subscription activity. It is designed to help partners track renewals, manage Microsoft trial conversion and configuration, and prepare for changes before they create operational issues.

Partner Analytics Hub brings together revenue, product and client data in a single analytics interface. That is meant to help partners assess business performance and make operational decisions more quickly.

Reports is being introduced as a central location for finance-focused outputs that users can tailor, download and schedule for recurring email delivery. The first phase includes customisable invoice reports.

Integration guides

Pax8 also introduced Integration Guides, which offer practical direction for connecting systems and using Pax8 application programming interfaces and its Model Context Protocol Server. An AI prompt generator is also included to help partners identify customer needs earlier.

The move reflects growing demand from IT service providers for tools that tie together data from subscriptions, billing and customer accounts as they take on more responsibility for managing software and cloud estates on behalf of clients. Vendors and distributors have increasingly added reporting and automation features to partner platforms as recurring revenue models become more complex.

Partner visibility

In comments accompanying the announcement, Pax8 executives framed the changes as a response to the need for clearer oversight.

"Partners don't need more data. They need clarity," said Libby McIlhany, Chief Product Officer, Pax8.

"We've expanded the Pax8 Marketplace to give our partners relevant insights across all clients and vendors, so they can make faster decisions, operate more effectively, and lead with greater confidence," said McIlhany.

Pax8 also pointed to the role of visibility in managing growth across partner businesses that support SMB customers.

Business scale

"Without a clear view of the business, scaling just amplifies problems," said Lane Brannan, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Americas, Pax8.

"Partners need visibility into what's happening across their clients and subscriptions, and the ability to act on it in real time to deliver better outcomes for the SMBs they serve," said Brannan.

Pax8 said more than 47,000 IT professionals use its platform globally and that those partners support more than 800,000 SMBs. The latest additions suggest the company is placing greater emphasis on operational analytics and reporting as part of its Marketplace offering.
