Pure Storage named leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant 2024

Pure Storage has been recognised as a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage Platforms. This marks the eleventh consecutive year that the company has achieved this recognition.

According to Gartner, Pure Storage has been positioned highest for its Ability to Execute and furthest for its Completeness of Vision in the Magic Quadrant. This is the fifth consecutive year that the company has been positioned at the top in these categories.

The need for modernised data infrastructure is becoming increasingly critical as enterprises face challenges such as scaling AI initiatives, defending against sophisticated cyber threats, and managing energy consumption. Traditional IT infrastructure and inflexible storage solutions are often insufficient to meet these demands, leading to increased vulnerability and higher energy costs.

Pure Storage's platform is designed to address these challenges by offering a unified storage solution that is adaptable across various environments, from on-premises to public cloud. The company's proprietary Evergreen architecture enables continuous, non-disruptive upgrades, allowing enterprises to stay agile in an ever-evolving business landscape. This assessment delivers numerical scores to benchmark security posture and offers insights to enhance cyber resilience. The copilot feature uses these assessments to help Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) compare their security metrics with other customers.

Pure Storage has also implemented an industry-first solution where it covers the costs for power and rack space through the Evergreen//One programme. As AI workloads increase power consumption, this solution aims to help IT departments manage rising electricity costs and space constraints more efficiently.
