Techugo to deliver 35 e-governance projects worth INR ₹23 crore by 2026

Wed, 1st Oct 2025

Techugo has outlined plans to complete 35 e-governance projects, valued at INR ₹23 crore, by the end of FY26, as part of a broader expansion in India's government technology sector.

The Noida-based technology services provider is delivering these projects across a range of technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), cloud networking, blockchain, mobility solutions, application and software development, cybersecurity, and digital marketing. Each project is aligned to Techugo's broader aim to accelerate the digital transformation of India's public sector through improved governance, increased automation, citizen empowerment, and enhancements in data security.

Government collaborations

Techugo is currently working with several significant public sector bodies, including the Textile Committee of India, the Department of Information Technology, the Ministry of Defence, which encompasses the Indian Navy, and the National Informatics Centre. The company's technological solutions are designed to help these agencies automate their internal processes, enhance interdepartmental coordination, and manage public data more efficiently and quickly.

The platforms provided by Techugo enable around-the-clock service availability for citizens, reduce paperwork, and simplify registration and payment procedures. Features such as real-time dashboards and monitoring tools enable government officials to make quicker, data-driven decisions, while also reducing the need for manual work.

CEO's perspective

Abhinav Singh, Chief Executive Officer at Techugo, stated, "Our vision is not just to develop software, as we are here to empower the government with technology that is secure, scalable, and future-ready. Completing 35 projects by FY26 is not a milestone for us but it's more of a step towards achieving Digital India's vision of inclusive and citizen-centric services. We are glad to join hands with top government organizations and continue to work towards creating digital products that will leave a long-lasting mark on governance and public life."

Addressing challenges

The company acknowledges the challenges associated with government technology projects, including delays in onboarding, the need for multi-tier approvals, compliance demands, and coordinating diverse stakeholders. To address these issues, Techugo utilises structured project management approaches, phased implementation strategies, and regular communication with stakeholders to promote timely delivery and scalability.

Techugo also places a strong emphasis on data security, utilising measures such as end-to-end encryption, secure storage, and frequent compliance audits to safeguard sensitive government information.

Future outlook

Looking ahead to the period after FY26, Techugo expects to further strengthen its partnership with the government and public sector enterprises by participating in wider smart governance projects, including Smart Cities, e-Health, and e-Education initiatives. The company aims to leverage its capabilities in AI-driven citizen services, including chatbots, predictive analytics, and grievance redressal systems, to play a pivotal role in advancing governance technology in India.

Techugo was established in 2015 and focuses on digital transformation and AI services across multiple sectors and platforms. The company has completed more than 1,400 projects worldwide, working with organisations in India as well as clients based in the USA and Dubai.
