Consistent Infosystems has launched a new range of gaming power supplies in India, comprising three models.
The line-up includes the Vajra 700W, Starvex 600W and Mercury 500W, aimed at users building or upgrading gaming and performance PCs.
The launch comes as demand for PC components tied to gaming, streaming and content creation continues to grow in India. Power supplies remain a core part of these systems because they affect stability and efficiency across processors, graphics cards and other hardware.
The new range features 80+ Bronze certification, Active PFC technology and DC-to-DC architecture. Each unit also has a 120mm silent cooling fan and black flat cables designed to improve airflow, heat control and cable management.
The three models target different parts of the PC market. The Vajra 700W is aimed at higher-specification gaming systems and includes dual PCIe connectors for setups with more demanding components.
The Starvex 600W is targeted at mainstream gaming and productivity machines. The Mercury 500W is intended for entry-level and mid-range systems and, according to Consistent, has been optimised for Indian power conditions.
Market focus
The launch expands Consistent's gaming hardware portfolio as it seeks to strengthen its presence in India's consumer technology market. Alongside gaming products, the company sells IT hardware, networking and surveillance equipment, print consumables and electronics.
Founded in New Delhi in 2011, Consistent says it now operates more than 25 branches and 93 service centres. It also says it works with 3,795 channel partners across India, employs more than 400 people directly and exports to more than 17 countries.
Its portfolio spans more than 693 products and serves more than 5.5 crore customers, according to the company.
Competition in PC components has intensified as more brands target gamers, creators and home users assembling custom systems. In this market, product positioning often centres on wattage, efficiency ratings, thermal design and connector support, particularly as graphics hardware places greater demands on power delivery.
A wider retail footprint could be important for the new products, especially outside major urban centres, where component availability can still depend heavily on distributor relationships. The power supplies are available through Consistent's nationwide distribution network and authorised retail partners across India.
Yogesh Agrawal, Chief Managing Director and Co-Founder of Consistent Infosystems, linked the launch to changing demand in the local market.
"The gaming ecosystem in India is evolving rapidly, creating demand for reliable and high-performance PC components. Our new Gaming Power Supply range has been developed to deliver efficient, stable, and dependable power for gamers, creators, and PC enthusiasts. With the launch of the Vajra, Starvex, and Mercury series, we continue our commitment to offering innovative technology products that combine performance, quality, and value," said Agrawal.
The company has recently highlighted industry recognition for products including motherboards, IP cameras, gaming devices and solar cameras. Those awards form part of a broader push to raise its profile across multiple hardware categories, from computing components to surveillance and home entertainment.
For buyers, the immediate question is whether the new units can gain share in a crowded market where established domestic and international brands compete on price, reliability and after-sales service. The range is now on sale across India through Consistent's retail and distribution network.
