Hosted Network has appointed Anthony Rosa as Director of Sales. He joins the Australian wholesale cloud and telecommunications provider from LastPass.

Rosa will lead the sales organisation, overseeing team performance, revenue growth, and engagement with the company's managed service provider partners.

The appointment adds another senior executive to Hosted Network's leadership team as the business expands its wholesale cloud, connectivity, and voice services in Australia. The company is a channel-only provider, selling through managed service providers rather than directly to end customers.

Rosa brings more than a decade of experience in channel and MSP-focused sales roles. At LastPass, he was MSP International Sales Manager, working across the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Before that, he held senior channel roles at N-able, including Principal Channel Manager for APAC. He began his channel career at Dimension Data.

Sales focus

Hosted Network Chief Executive Officer and Founder Ben Town said the hire is intended to strengthen the structure around the existing sales team.

"We've grown a lot, and we've got a strong sales team that has brought us this far. Bringing Anthony in is about giving them the leadership and structure to go even further. I wanted someone who has built and scaled teams before and could help us take this next step. I've watched Anthony do exactly that more than once, and the timing was right for both of us," Town said.

Rosa's remit will extend across Hosted Network's base of MSP partners, which sits at the core of its customer model. The company traces its roots to the MSP market and says that background has shaped how it works with partners.

Rosa said his decision to join reflected the company's approach to the channel.

"A few things drew me in. I've spent years consulting and building sales teams for vendors and MSPs, and I kept seeing the same pattern: an MSP hires a salesperson, but with no sales process in place, that person is often let go within a year, even though they never really had the chance to learn what good looked like. Hosted Network is different. I've known Ben and the team for a while, and the culture is genuine. Everyone holds each other accountable, and its reputation with MSPs is excellent. The opportunity to help build and elevate that sales team inside a business like this was an easy decision," Rosa said.

Partner model

The company supplies cloud, connectivity, voice, and security services to MSPs. The appointment suggests it sees sales leadership and partner management as central to its next phase of expansion.

Rosa said he sees the role as broader than meeting sales targets alone.

"Every MSP we work with is trying to grow, and I really believe Hosted Network can redefine what a wholesale partner can be, to the point where working with us becomes a genuine competitive advantage partners build their business around. It's a big ambition, but we're in a rare position to get there. I want every partner who works with us to walk away more competitive, more profitable, and more confident. Do that, and the growth takes care of itself," he said.

He also linked his approach to his earlier experience advising MSPs on their sales operations and priorities.

"My time as an adviser taught me to understand what actually motivates an MSP, what matters to them, and what tends to get put on the back burner. When an MSP says no to a vendor, it usually doesn't mean they're not interested; often it's simply not the right time, or their focus is elsewhere. So the goal is to help them with whatever their priority is today. That might not close a deal tomorrow, but it builds a relationship, and that's what brings the deal in the future," Rosa said.

The appointment follows a period of sustained growth for Hosted Network.
