Hyderabad police deploy Blue Cloud's SOCEYE platform

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions has completed deployment of its SOCEYE social media monitoring platform for the Social Media Unit of Hyderabad City Police. The system is now live, and unit staff have been trained.
The rollout completes a purchase order issued after verification of the company's ownership of the software, which it said was developed in India.
SOCEYE, previously known as Blura Saga, is designed to help police track and assess social media activity in real time across multiple Indian languages. It is being used for fact verification, routing citizen complaints raised online, and preserving digital material for investigation and judicial review.
The platform gives police a single dashboard for monitoring online discussions and identifying content that may require action, according to the company. It also documents analysis with audit trails and other records intended to support lawful investigations.
The deployment places the product inside one of India's largest metropolitan police forces. The handover included personnel training and a continuous-learning configuration, and Blue Cloud Softech will continue to support the unit under the terms of the engagement.
Operational Use
The system works on publicly available social media content under police authority and includes role-based access controls, the company said. It is intended to support public communication by helping officers address misinformation and respond more quickly to grievances raised online.
In Hyderabad, where social media often serves as an immediate channel for complaints, alerts and public reaction, such systems are increasingly being positioned as operational tools rather than purely monitoring software. Blue Cloud Softech said SOCEYE classifies and routes grievances for action so complaints posted online can be handled in a similar way to those filed through conventional channels.
The company said the product can also assist with verification of viral claims, altered images and fabricated material. This is intended to help police assess disputed content before responding publicly or using digital material in an inquiry.
Broader Footprint
Blue Cloud Softech said the Hyderabad deployment adds to the platform's use in other law enforcement settings in Telangana, including command centre and anti-narcotics work. This suggests the company is seeking to establish SOCEYE as a standardised law enforcement product for wider use across India.
The group operates from Hyderabad and has a presence in the United States, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Its work spans government, homeland security, education, healthcare and cybersecurity, with a focus on artificial intelligence and connected systems.
The police deployment comes as public bodies in India face greater pressure to respond quickly to misinformation, online complaints and digitally circulated evidence. Social media units have become more prominent in urban policing as authorities seek to monitor public narratives and intervene before false or misleading claims spread more widely.
Blue Cloud Softech also said the platform is designed to align with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The company described the system as operating with documentation standards suitable for judicial scrutiny.
Commenting on the rollout, Blue Cloud Softech framed the project as a test of execution following public disclosure of the order.
"An order announced is a promise; an order delivered is a reputation. SOCEYE, a platform we conceived, engineered and own in India, is now live inside one of India's largest metropolitan police forces, within the committed timeline," said Sri Tejesh Kumar Kodali, Group Chairman, Blue Cloud Group.
"I thank the Hyderabad City Police for their trust. To our shareholders and to every government we serve, our commitment is simple: at Blue Cloud, disclosure is followed by deployment. What is live in Hyderabad today stands ready for every metropolitan police force in India tomorrow," said Kodali.
