The Josh Bersin Company has released Jupiter, a new version of its Galileo HR and management assistant, expanding Galileo's use across enterprise AI platforms.
Jupiter introduces a revised architecture called Agent Ready Corpus, or ARC, which restructures Galileo's research and advisory material into smaller tagged units for retrieval during user queries. This is designed to return more targeted responses while reducing the amount of data processed by the underlying language model.
Galileo has been positioned as a specialist assistant for HR teams, managers, recruiters, and consultants using The Josh Bersin Company's research base. With Jupiter, that model extends to a broader range of workplace systems and third-party AI tools.
The latest release can connect through the Model Context Protocol, allowing Galileo to be used with platforms including Workday, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, and HiBob. It can also analyse employee data from several HR software systems through open interfaces.
The upgrade reflects a wider push by software providers and advisory firms to place domain-specific AI tools inside existing business applications rather than asking workers to move to separate interfaces. In this case, The Josh Bersin Company is using its long-running HR and management research library as the basis for answers delivered inside systems employers already use.
Jupiter was benchmarked against general-purpose large language models using 30 internal prompts covering recruitment, vendor analysis, turnover, organisational design, and management scenarios. In those tests, Galileo was more than 200% faster, while the other models produced hallucinations or incorrect answers in more than half of the queries, according to the company.
Those results are tied to how ARC handles retrieval. Instead of passing broad documents or large sections of a corpus into a model, the system uses semantic chunking, metadata, and indexing to identify smaller pieces of relevant content. According to the company, this reduces irrelevant context and token use, lowering operating costs for customers deploying the tool at scale.
Jupiter also adds new content sources, including executive wage data from Equilar, which The Josh Bersin Company said will support guidance on executive pay alongside its existing research, case studies, and frameworks.

Several software partners endorsed the release and described how Galileo will sit inside their own products. Their comments underline the importance of integration as AI tools increasingly compete on the quality of the data and expertise they can access within enterprise workflows.

Microsoft and ServiceNow also backed the move to embed specialised HR guidance within broader workplace software.

Workday highlighted Galileo's integration through Sana, the platform provider's enterprise AI layer.

Inside The Josh Bersin Company, executives presented Jupiter as a shift from an HR knowledge repository to infrastructure for AI-based workplace decision support.
