Persistent wins 2026 Google Cloud supply chain award
Thu, 21st May 2026 (Today)
Persistent has been named a 2026 Google Cloud Partner of the Year in the Services & Industry Solutions - Supply Chain & Logistics category, recognising its work on supply chain modernisation projects using Google Cloud.
The recognition reflects work with enterprise customers in manufacturing and retail that are redesigning supply chains to improve resilience and increase automation. Many of those organisations are still constrained by older systems and fragmented data, limiting visibility across planning, inventory and logistics.
Persistent has been using Google Cloud tools to help clients rebuild core supply chain systems and create a unified operational database. The approach is intended to connect supply chain functions more closely and support the use of artificial intelligence in areas such as demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics and exception handling.
Its work also includes Google Cloud AI products, including Gemini, to deploy agent-based and generative AI systems in live operating environments. The aim is to help companies move from analysis to automated action across supply chain processes.
According to the announcement, the award was based on customer impact, execution and alignment with Google Cloud priorities. Persistent said the recognition also reinforces its position within the Google Cloud partner network for supply chain and logistics work.
Persistent described its relationship with Google Cloud as long-standing, with joint work focused on supply chain transformation across industries. It is a Premier Google Cloud Partner and says it has nearly two decades of experience in the ecosystem, more than 50 areas of Google Cloud expertise and more than 2,000 Google Cloud certifications.
Supply chain focus
Businesses in sectors such as manufacturing and retail have increased spending on cloud-based supply chain systems in response to disruption, cost pressures and the need for faster decision-making. Technology groups and consulting firms have sought to position themselves around projects that combine cloud migration, data integration and AI tools for planning and logistics.
Persistent's latest recognition places it in a competitive market where service providers are trying to win larger transformation mandates tied to operational systems rather than back-office IT alone. Supply chain work has become a key area for cloud partners because it affects inventory, transport, procurement and customer fulfilment, and often requires large-scale system integration.
Jaideep Vijay Dhok, Chief Operating Officer - Technology, Persistent, said: "Being recognized as a Google Cloud Partner of the Year in the Services & Industry Solutions - Supply Chain & Logistics category reflects the strength of our partnership and the impact we are delivering for enterprises. As organizations re-architect supply chains for resilience and intelligence, we are working with Google Cloud to modernize core systems, unify data and embed AI across the lifecycle. Together, we are enabling organizations to move from fragmented, reactive operations to connected, autonomous supply chains that sense, respond and optimize in real time."
Google Cloud said the award was part of its annual partner awards programme, which highlights work by companies in its partner ecosystem across industries and service areas. The programme recognises partners that have delivered measurable results for customers over the previous year.
Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels, Google Cloud, said: "The Google Cloud Partner Awards honor the strategic innovation and measurable value our partners bring to customers. We are proud to name Persistent a 2026 Google Cloud Partner Award winner, celebrating their role in driving customer success over the last year."
