XConnect appoints James Williams as VP to fuel global expansion
XConnect, a provider of numbering intelligence solutions, is expanding its team with the appointment of James Williams as Vice President (VP) of Business Development.
Williams is tasked with the responsibility of identifying and exploring new market opportunities that will allow the company to extend its reach within the global communication industry.
This appointment aligns with XConnect's 2024 global growth strategy, aiming to underscore the validation and authentication of phone numbers through its trusted global data and intelligent solutions.
Williams joins XConnect with over three decades of telecommunication industry expertise under his belt, having previously served as the Director of Programmes at Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF). His broad experience encompasses diverse areas including business messaging, omnichannel, customer journey orchestration, and mobile subscriber intelligence.
In his capacity as the VP of Business Development, Williams will facilitate XConnect's expansion across new geographies and segments. He will scout opportunities that bolster voice, messaging, and identity and verification players worldwide, leveraging XConnect's trusted data sets and solutions.
His role will also include nourishing Xconnect's relationships with mobile network operators to enhance its datasets and instil more confidence in customers to deliver traffic.
