Thu, 17th Apr 2025

Tempo has appointed Jenny Decker as its new Chief Financial Officer.

In her new position, Jenny Decker will be responsible for overseeing Tempo's global finance, accounting, enterprise applications, and operations functions.

Decker is based in San Francisco and brings more than 15 years of experience in the software-as-a-service sector to the company. She will apply this experience to support Tempo's next phase of growth, according to the company.

Vic Chynoweth, Chief Executive Officer at Tempo, said, "We're excited to welcome Jenny to the Tempo team. With over fifteen years of experience in B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS), Jenny is the ideal leader to guide our finance and operations as we continue to grow. Her unique skills and background enable her to align go-to-market, operations, and finance to foster sustainable growth while supporting innovation in strategic portfolio management."

Jenny Decker previously spent a significant portion of her career at Atlassian, where she worked on strategy and finance teams during a period of global expansion and operational growth for the company.

During her time at Atlassian, she played a central role in the company's transition from a privately held firm to a public enterprise software company. This involved supporting operational growth and contributing insights into the evolving requirements of modern software teams.

The experience at Atlassian is expected to influence her leadership at Tempo, a company described as being closely integrated with the Atlassian ecosystem.

Decker commented on her new role, stating, "Joining Tempo at this stage presents an incredible opportunity to contribute to its continued growth and innovation. With its strong foundation as a long-time Atlassian partner, Tempo is well positioned to scale and continue delivering next-generation solutions for strategic portfolio management to its customers both within the Atlassian ecosystem and beyond."

After her tenure at Atlassian, Decker held Chief Financial Officer roles at Front and Engine. In those positions, she focused on building teams and implementing operational infrastructure to support innovation and sustainable growth.

Tempo provides a modular platform designed to assist companies in planning, executing, and optimising strategic portfolios in line with business priorities. The company has a customer base that includes more than 30,000 organisations, including over half of organisations listed among the Fortune 100.

Tempo reports support from over 300 integration partners since its inception in 2009.
