ASUS honoured channel partners at its ASUS Next Enterprise Summit in Singapore, with awards recognising businesses and individuals from Australia and New Zealand.

The event brought together more than 1,000 delegates from Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore, including channel partners, customers and technology specialists. ASUS also introduced the ExpertBook Ultra, its new flagship business laptop, and outlined its regional business strategy.

The awards programme focused on distributor performance, commercial sales, individual achievement, emerging partners and major contracts. Winners included Synnex, Computer Alliance, QLD Computers and ASI Solutions in Australia, and Cyclone and Lexel in New Zealand.

In the distributor category, Synnex was named Australia Distributor of the Year. The award recognised channel management, operational efficiency, partner support, market reach and supply chain execution.

Computer Alliance won Australia Commercial Partner of the Year, recognising performance in the commercial segment, including revenue, market penetration and customer engagement.

Individual awards

Two people received the Outstanding Achiever Award. Maritsa Pavone of Computer Alliance was recognised for the highest individual revenue contribution to ASUS Australia and for her role in business development.

Pat Moloney of ASI Solutions also received the award for contributing to market share gains across the Chromebook and ExpertBook lines, as well as contract wins involving the ACT Education Directorate, the Catholic Education Office Canberra and an independent school in his region.

Growth and deals

The Rising Star Award went to QLD Computers in Australia and Cyclone in New Zealand. It recognises newer or fast-growing partners that have shown strong momentum in developing their business with ASUS.

Strategic Deal of the Year was awarded to ASI Solutions in Australia and Lexel in New Zealand for complex deals that made a significant contribution to shared business outcomes.

The summit reflected a broader regional push by ASUS to strengthen ties with resellers, distributors and commercial customers across parts of Asia-Pacific. The event was framed around demand linked to artificial intelligence and the changing requirements of business buyers, although the awards focused on partner execution and sales performance.

Recognition programmes of this kind are closely watched in the channel because they can influence vendor-partner relationships, future sales priorities and standing in competitive bids. They also offer a snapshot of which distributors and resellers are gaining traction in education and commercial markets, where device refresh cycles and procurement frameworks remain important sources of demand.

For ASUS, the spread of winners reflected a mix of established distributors, commercial resellers and partners with a strong presence in education. Several of the named organisations have been active in supplying notebooks and related systems to schools, government-linked institutions and broader business accounts.

The final awards list highlighted ASUS's emphasis on Australia and New Zealand, even though the broader summit drew delegates from four markets. This suggests the company sees the two countries as an important part of its commercial channel strategy, particularly in segments where partners play a central role in winning and supporting customer contracts.

Emma Ou, Commercial Regional Director of ANZ, Malaysia and Singapore, Systems Business Group, ASUS, commented on the role of partners in the region.

"Our partners play a critical role in helping customers navigate an increasingly complex technology landscape," said Ou.

"These award winners exemplify the passion, expertise and dedication that continue to strengthen the ASUS commercial ecosystem across Australia and New Zealand," she said.
